One of the guys from Redding had the coolest GPS device I'd ever seen. Very cool indeed.

Right where the river hits the ocean there was a large group of sea lions or seals (I don't know which). Just hangin out soaking in some rays.

About half way down the river you run into a small dam. Fortunately you can get out of your kayak and walk it down this ramp. I assume the ramp was built by ODFW. Whoever built it we're sure glad they did because it make this paddle fun and easy.

I've been paddling around the Oregon Coast for close to a decade and this paddle is in the top 10 of my favorites. Nice!

One of our friends from Redding seemed to know a lot about flowers and would stop to admire them.

SiltCoos Lake is the largest lake on the Oregon Coast. SiltCoos River runs three miles from the west side of the lake to the pacific ocean. This shot was taken just after entering the river.

This is one of the Redding group, his kayak is hand made (how cool is that). It's 19'10" long and I must say one of the best looking kayaks I have ever seen. The craftsmenship in the woodwork is remarkable.

Another shot of the RC ship. Naturally as you might expect all the guys wanted to know if you can put cannons on it and blow stuff up!

We watched this guy load the ship into the water. It's remote control and pretty darn awesome. It has no prop but all the sails are remote control. He said that when he has all sails out he has over 19 square feet of sail surface catching wind. Fabulous!
