We were on the water for a little over 6 hours so it was time to head back, what a great paddle.

We came around a corner and found several bald eagles feeding on some fish. I count 3 males and two females. The males appeared to be standing guard while the females enjoyed a meal.

Dan is standing on the bridge. Most of the year this bridge covers a creek. This time of the year the creek covers the bridge.

It's pretty easy to calculate how much flood water you're in when you're paddling over the top of a 5' fence.

All of this was dry land a couple of months ago and we are told that it will be dry land again in a couple of weeks (assuming that the June rains come to a hault).
